Start with your Aim in mind

The Aim is your goal to reach your Abundance. The idea is that before you can Attract your Abundance, you need to Envision it first. This is done through Creative Imagination. For many people, knowing what they want is not easy; what they think they want tends to change all the time. That means it is not in Alignment with Source (yet).

There is nothing lost here, because one way towards knowing what you want is first to know what you don’t want. You can find out by the process of trial and error. This can take some time, but that is ok because this process was necessary for you to get into alignment with who you really are, and what you want to Attract from that place.

Everything is created twice. First it is conceived of in Mind, and then it is manifested in Matter. When your Vision becomes more and more clear and you know what you want from that Inner Place called Essence, you have done what can be called your 1st creation, manifesting it through the Law of Allowing will be your 2nd creation.

Can you know what you want if you don’t know yourself?

Yes, you can think you know what you need from the ego’s part, but that’s not what we’re talking about because the ego doesn’t know what you really need, it’s your Source that knows that. The ego is a deflection of Source energy, it’s a part of you, but it mostly exists through negative emotions and that’s not who you really are. On a deeper level you are Source energy, when you read the story about the 14 year old girl on the page about getting into the right state for writing a Vision Statement, you’ll know what I mean.

The ego can attract too, but what the ego attracts comes never from the Source but from other blind egos. And it is not a Deliberate Creation, because Deliberate Creation results in Abundance, which is a Joyful state, when you do your first creation (your Vision) as well as when it manifests. For the ego there is never enough Abundance, so it can never be Joyful. In other words, the ego is under the Law of Attraction, but not under the Law of Deliberate Creation.

Abraham hicks, in my opinion the most interesting Source of knowledge about the Law of Attraction, talks about doing a creative Workshop exercise everyday for 15/20 min. It is best to do this in the morning, because it will influence your day. You don’t have to do this in the same place every day, as long as it is a quiet place. Think about the Abundance that you want to Attract, and be sure that you feel good about it. Make notes in a Law of Attraction Notebook. Then set your aims for the day, internal aims as well as external aims.

So the word “start” refers to the moment that you realize or remember your Aim. This can be writing down your vision and refine it every day before you go into your daily life, but it can also mean any moment during the day that you realize you forgot!
